I Knew It...

This week, for the most part has been somewhat slow for me at work. I am at pretty much the end of one project, and my \"ongoing\" support for another client won\'t pick up again until mid-May.
However, as what seems to always be the case with me, it appears my schedule is beginning to get busy with other projects, (and has the potential to EXPLODE into swamped if a certain quote gets accepted), and now my \"ongoing support\" project is getting busy again with little \"one-offs\" here and there.
That has always seemed to be my luck. Not just at work, but in pretty much everything and has wound up causing me to become more and more pessimistic with certain things. I mean, when I was younger, I\'d get to go to an amusement park, it\'d rain...and I am sure there are plenty more examples, but to go on and on about it, would just be boring and this site is boring enough as it is.
At any rate, I am sure I am going to move right from slow to SWAMPED in a matter of days. Plus I\'ve got some moonlighting deadlines that I am going to have to meet coming up in the next couple of weeks. When it rains, it pours...
