Getting Down to Brass Tacks...

No, I am not returning to basics and buckling down etc...What the title really means is that this morning\'s commute was accompanied by none other than Louis Prima. (For those that don\'t know, he was a trumpet player and entertainer). While Louis Armstrong will always be my favorite, Mr. Prima would definitely have to rank right up there after that, (after all \"[Just a Gigolo] - I Ain\'t Got Nobody,\" is a great tune).
(Of course you have to love guys like Maynard Ferguson and Arturo Sandoval...but I don\'t wanna start naming horn players or I\'d be here all day).
The only thing that really ruined the commute in was the *wonderful* smell from the water treatment plant over off South Towne. I was even able to handle the traffic with minimal aggression. (Maybe I am too sore from playing football this weekend to have the energy to get angry, I dunno.)
Anyway, I should actually start getting some work done...and continue listening to my CD.
