Well, in the middle of my final stages of spamming, (see earlier blog...), our network decided to take a dump. Naturally all fingers point my direction as our outgoing traffic comes to a *SCREECHING* halt. Hell, I was even convinced it was my fault!
I quickly cancel my script and wait for traffic to return to normal, but alas...we\'re dead in the water.
At last I call our network engineer who comes in and quickly determines that it isn\'t me, but seems to enjoy watching me squirm while allowing me to continue to think it is me. He\'s a *funny* guy while my hair is falling out. (I swear silently to myself and reiterate loudly that I didn\'t want to be part of the whole email thing, opt-in or not). Of course its all still very funny.
Thank GOD that it was determined to be just one of those fluke things that happens from time to time. We bounced the router and all was well. Our network guy still says I had nothing to do with it, but good lord, what an afternoon.
Do ya s\'pose it *was* me and the poor guy didn\'t have the heart to watch me pass out?
