That little girl...she\'s gone and thrown us another curve ball, and her mother and I keep swingin\' and missin\'...

The past two night now, she has woken up at 2:30 or so in the morning. Not necessarily hunger, but done sleeping for an hour or so. In both cases we were able to get her back to bed after a while, but Carrie and I are absolutley dragging. At least for me, at work, I don\'t have to concentrate of several differnt things at once, so my brain is allowed to be in half-sleep mode sometimes, but Carrie has to handle Olivia and all of her little things, as well as manage household things. (I don\'t want to sound old fashioned and those of you that know me, know I do help out around the house...) but she is always thinking about what to do for dinner, she\'s making phone calls, etc. I think she is doing a marvelous job, but I have a hard time convincing her of that.

Needless to say, we trying like heck to figure out what is going on with our little girl. Not that I\'m worried or anything, but these curve-balls just keep coming.

I was talking with a colleague today about her daughter and she mentioned that her daughter would somewhat \"regress\" just before she passed another milestone, such as crawling, teething, etc. I wonder if that is what we are experieincing because it seems that whenever Olivia throws us a curve ball and we are finally able to handle it, she\'s made a milestone, (such as cooing, smiling, reaching etc...).

Everyone tells you parenting is hard, but is something that you really have to experience first hand before you nod your head and say, \"I get it...that\'s what they meant by hard.\"

In other news, if you live in Madison be on the lookout for Metro bus number 849, and some overweight, scruffy lookin\' moron behind the wheel. Be careful, he\'s dangerous with that thing, and a royal asshole...you may just wanna fly him the bird to let him know that...

Ryan,
At almost 2 years old Faith is STILL giving us curve balls. It never ends. You soon learn that you are not sleep deprived at all. Just all the time before now you have over slept;)
Being a sucker for the sad looks we have added a new puppy to the mix. Are we crazy or what?!?!?!?!
