So we\'re still running Win 98 at home. I have no doubt in my mind that it has been compromised numerous times. We\'ve refused to upgrade mainly because neither of us want to take the time, nor do we really want to keep jumpin\' in bed with M$.

Carrie has to work from home today so last night I wanted to make sure she could get on the net with the damn thing and make sure virus stuff was running etc. Then I made my fatal mistake. I ran Windows Update...blammo, our inbox is completely empty in Outlook. *NOTHING* is there but our address book.

*sigh* its going to be a fun evening. The geek in me says, the stuff has got to be there, but the nay-sayer in me is saying all is lost...oh well, we were probably going to lose it anyway when we:

• Buy a Mac
• *gulp* upgrade
• re-installed...*again*
